It’s strange that, at some point, the webpage stopped displaying the author’s name “Murray Rothbard,” replacing it simply by “Alias.” It’s almost like the people at New American like what Rothbard had to say about fluoride, but don’t want to be associated with him. I personally remember going to the webpage and reading it, and it saying that Murray Rothbard was the author. I went to the page after reading Joshua Shubert’s article Rothbard was Right about Water Fluoridation in August of 2022, which can easily be found at the Mises Institute’s website. Unfortunately, the Wayback Machine doesn’t have any archived versions of the page from before October of 2023. Therefore, it must have been at some point after August of 2022 but before October of 2023 that the people at New American tried to erase Rothbard. Very fortunately, the people at New American failed to cover all of their tracks: If one scrolls down to the bottom of the article, it still states that it was written by Murray N. Rothbard. The article is also archived at https://web.archive.org/web/20250708010124/https://actionpa.org/fluoride/revisited/ where it properly lists Rothbard as the author. As further proof, Reason Magazine had an article back in 2001 titled “Impurifying our precious bodily fluids” stating that Rothbard was the author of that article in New American. That Reason article is pro-fluoridationist, yet Reason Magazine is ideologically very close to Rothbard, so there’s no reason that they would want to misrepresent Rothbard’s views. This Reason article is archived at https://fluoridealert.org/news/impurifying-our-precious-bodily-fluids/
